How to make computer faster with unique tips

Everyone wants their windows PC run faster and smoother. But after sometime because of installing some unwanted programs, the PC will become slow. Here are some tips to make your slower PC fast.

Step 1) clean temporary files

 Because of internet the temporary files are created automatically. It takes some space of C drive. I will show how to delete these temporary files,

• Go to control panel.

• Search free up in control panel, then under performance information and tools click on free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files.

• It ask for choose a drive, choose a drive in which your windows is installed.

After choosing a drive click OK, it takes some time to check the unnecessary files. After process completes it shows the unnecessary files like recycle bin files, temporary files etc. Select all the files under files to delete. Click OK; it takes less than 30 seconds to delete it. 

  Step 2) disable unwanted startup programs

 When your windows starts some programs will automatically started in the background process, these unwanted programs increase your CPU storage. These startup programs makes your computer slow. I will show step by step how to disable these programs from startup.

• Go to task manager and click on startup it shows list of application which automatically starting when windows starts.

• Disable all application which are not necessary.

• By disabling these programs CPU usage of your reduces and PC speed surely increase.   

 Step 3) increase your virtual memory size
 Many users wants their laptop run on high performance while they are playing high graphics games, it takes more memory to run. To run these games smoother you computer wants high virtual memory. The windows automatically decide the virtual memory size for your computer. But you can set a custom value for it. I will show you how to increase a virtual memory of your computer.

• Right click on computer icon and select properties.

• Then click on advanced system settings, it opens a system properties window.

• Click on advanced. Under advanced tab click on performance setting.

• It opens a performance option window.

• Below performance window, click on advanced option.

• Click on change option below virtual memory.

• Uncheck the option; automatically manage paging file size for all drives.

• Click on custom size.

• Set the initial size and maximum size of the virtual memory.

• After restarting your computer the virtual memory size is increased.

• This will make your PC smooth while playing high graphics games. 

 Step 4) uninstall unwanted programs


 Installed programs acquire some memory in C drive and they use CPU memory in background process. Because of this your computer will slow, Therefore uninstall unwanted programs.

• To uninstall programs go to control panel.

• Type uninstall in control panel.

• Click on uninstall a program.

• Under program and features it shows the installed application I your computer.

Uninstall unnecessary programs. It makes your PC fast.

 Step 5) create a restore point


Create a restore point to recover the settings of your computer when it running fast. Read our post how to create a restore point.

 Step 6) scan your computer in 2-3 days

 Don’t install any other antivirus to scan your programs, windows defender is best. Other antivirus uses too much CPU memory.

 step 7) Defrag your drives

you can optimize your drives to help your computer run more efficiently. defrag your drives in a week.

1. go to control panel, search defrag.
2. click on defragment and optimize your drives.
3. the new window appears, select C drive and click on analyze.
4. after completing the process click on optimize.
5. you can set scheduled optimization, computer automatically optimize your drives.
6. click change settings of scheduled optimization and set the scheduled time.
